Are Banks Finally Getting It?

Are banks finally getting it? A client of mine is very happy with the new program his bank is offering. It is a free program for the employer to offer their employees. There is no cost involved for the company to offer this program to their employees. Some of the benefits are free checks for the life of the account, no min balance requirements, free companion savings account (no min. balance requirements), free check card, free online banking and bill pay, discounts on loans and lines of credit. I think banks are finally getting it. It is about helping the employer keep employees with little or no cost to the employer. These are benefit programs that many employees find useful - especially discounts in loans (I wonder if mortgages are included?) Life changing no - useful to the employees - yes. The bank that  offers this program is National City Bank. I do not use this program because I have no employees. I really like being a one person shop. For those of you who might find this program interesting call Kevin Cioppa at (330) 375-8714. These kinds of programs can really make it easier to recruit and retain employees.
